These huts are beautifully equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Each one has a double bed, single bunk bed with hyper allergenic memory foam mattresses and fresh colourful duvets and linen. The views from the stable door and windows are amazing and the wood burning stove will keep you toasty warm. The Shepherd Huts each have their own outside brazier and bench and we are happy to accept one well behaved dog.

Crake Valley is a small family run holiday park close to the picturesque holiday village of Coniston, with a maximum of ten static holiday caravans and five timber lodges all maintained in first class condition and set in lovely surroundings with a large variety of birds and wildlife.

The park is situated in an elevated position across from Coniston Water, which is only a short walk away, sheltered on three sides by mature oak trees, with views across to the Coniston Old Man mountain and surrounding fells, the park opens onto Blawith Common, which is an extensive area of wild and craggy moorland where you can wander at will, with lovely walks to Beacon Tarn and Torver. It is an ideal base for touring the lakes, with all visitor attractions within easy reach, but a car is advisable to get the most of your holiday. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
We have two caravans that are pet free.

We have 5 timber clad lodges, 4 two bedroom and 1 three bedroom all 37' long x 12' wide and completely self contained. All comprise of lounge/dining room with French windows leading onto a balcony with patio furniture. At Crake Valley we are very proud that for the last 16 years we have been recipients of the Bellamy GOLD Award for environmental conservation which was voted for by guests who have visited our park.

The main bedroom has a double bed, while the second (and in one case the third) contains two single beds. There are heaters in all bedrooms. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, wash basin, toilet and shaver point.
All our caravans are completely self contained and fully equipped with electricity, hot water, shower and flush toilets.

Hill Top Campsite is set in a small community, close to the village of Staveley, mid-way between Kendal and Windermere. It's surrounded by a wealth of walking and cycling tracks and trails, unspoiled views, and just three miles from Lake Windermere, England's largest lake.

Hill Top is a friendly, affordable, small, unregulated site standing on raised grassy ground above, but well separated from the owner’s bed and breakfast accommodation.
