A substantial wood door opens into an open entance hall, where you can catch sight of the beautiful beams, lovely view, glorius furnishings and a warmth that only comes from old properties turned new. A lot of thought and attention has been given to the design and furnishings of the property. A very romantic bedroom which is beautifully furnished and features a clever use of stained glass in the original dove cote to reflect the early morning sunshine across the whole bedroom. The lounge / dining room has deep cushioned furnishings and a feature fireplace. Relaxing evenings can be spent watching the TV/video or listening to music on the CD player. A wide selection of guidebooks and maps are available. The French windows lead out to the sun terrace and private enclosed garden, perfect for romantic evening and early morning meals, which gently slopes down to the meandering river Gowan.

Lavender Cottage is a fantastic end-terraced holiday cottage located in the quaint village of Little Urswick in the South Lakes, near Ulverston, Cumbria. Lavender Cottage oozes character with features such as its’ oak beams, inglenook fireplace and original stone-flagged kitchen floor together with modern appliances and underfloor heating throughout, your stay will be extremely comfortable and full of charm all year round.

Daffodil Cottage is a good quality terraced cottage in the pretty village of Little Urswick, near Ulverston in Cumbria. Lovingly restored, the cottage provides an ideal base for a couple or small family who wish to explore this delightful and quiet corner of Cumbria, just a short drive from the Lake District National Park. Set out over two floors, this charming, compact cottage offers a lovely, cosy sitting room with gas fire and exposed stonework, a modern well-equipped kitchen, and two well laid-out bedrooms served by a shower room. Outside is a small patio area with furniture, a lovely place to sit out and watch the world go by, along with an enclosed lawned garden to the rear.
